Lineberger Memorial Library - Intro | General Information

The library is a primary element in theological education, providing access to resources which support the curriculum and extend interest in other fields of knowledge. The 100,000 volume collection includes classics of the Christian faith as well as contemporary resources for communicating the gospel. Numerous resources are available in social problems, human relationships, pastoral care, comparative religions, philosophy, and secular history. Over 600 periodicals plus automated catalog systems and on-line access enrich learning possibilities. Lineberger Memorial Library, gift of the Lineberger family of North Carolina and winner of national architectural design awards, offers individual carrels, seminar rooms and study tables, all located close to the stacks.
